THREAT REDUCTION AND ARMS CONTROL (TRAC) SUPPORT

world

The Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Threat Reduction and Arms Control (DASD(NCB/TRAC)) is the principal advisor to the ASD(NCB) for acquisition oversight, implementation, and compliance with nuclear, biological, and chemical treaties. The DASD(NCB/TRAC) provides oversight of implementation and compliance with existing and prospective nuclear, biological, and chemical arms control agreements. Each nuclear weapons treaty signed or considered by the United States requires treaty management, oversight, and technical support to ensure that the detailed provisions of the treaty are properly understood and implemented. We support Treaty Managers with high level analysis, briefing papers, technology reviews, capability assessments, and interagency compliance.

ARMS CONTROL ENTERPRISE SYSTEM (ACES) SUPPORT

ACESThe Air Force uses the web-based Arms Control Enterprise System (ACES) to support data reporting requirements and notifications for all New START (NST) treaty limited equipment and accountable items. This system includes data handling capabilities and reporting procedures for compliance tracking of weapons systems subject to treaty restrictions. Toeroek provides SME support to the Air Force NST/ACES program, including QA/QC of field reports, testing and evaluation of ACES modifications, and training for ACES users across the US.
